The actress had also attended the Marrakech International Film Festival, where her debut film Student Of The Year was screened. Alia feels honored to be there.

“It was actually very shocking for us to know how famous Bollywood is internationally. They all were screaming, ‘Karan, we love you, Shah Rukh love you’! They were just going mad. Is Sohail Khan trying to bring SRK and Salman Khan together?

Despite being aware of the arch rivalry between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, the latter’s brother Sohail Khan has invited King Khan to join any team of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). The CCL has eight teams and Salman Khan is the face of one of them (Mumbai Heroes). Sohail hopes SRK will support the teams, including Mumbai Heroes.

Well, this a a perfect example of not mixing ones professional and personal life.
“He’s (SRK) a part of the industry and he is a very big star. He has his own IPL (Indian Premier League) team and if he would like to come and support CCL or any of the teams, there’s going to be games in Kolkata, Pune,” said the 42-year-old.

“We all are part of one industry, I still call him Shah Rukh Bhai, things don’t change. We all are a part of the industry and we all are friends, he is most welcome. We’ll be glad if he supports us,” he added.

We hope at least this will bring our two favorite Khan’s together.

Meanwhile, Riteish Deshmukh, who earlier belonged to team Mumbai Heroes, has now started his own CCL team named Veer Marathi. He hopes to beat his earlier team.

“When we play a cricket match, we will try our best to beat the opposite team and after winning we will give them a nice hug,” Riteish said here.

Anushka Sharma is very exited these days. Reason being her upcoming film P.K with Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan. The actress is so excited and nervous that she took tips from Aamir’s nephew and her co-star Imran Khan while shooting for Matru Ki Bijilee Ka Mandola.

Anushka, who has worked with Imran in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, became good friends with the actor while they shot for the film.

A source said: “In between shots they used to have long chats ranging from gadgets and cars to the industry and their upcoming projects”.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in Imtiaz Ali’s next?

If all goes well, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif might be seen together, once again, in Imtiaz Ali’s next film. If the news is true, this will be the on screen couples third flick together.

As per a leading daily, the shooting of this untitled film will start in the first week of September 2013.
A source said, “Neither Imtiaz nor (producer) Sajid Nadiadwala are willing to talk about it yet, but in all likelihood, Katrina is confirmed. Both the director and producer feel that she fits the bill perfectly. Things aren’t on paper yet, but detailed discussions have already taken place. Katrina also seems willing to star in the film.”

Bollywood is left with very little choice now, with upcoming flicks outnumbering the female stars.
Says an insider, “Ranbir would just have worked with Deepika Padukone (in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani); Anushka Sharma stars opposite him in Bombay Velvet; Priyanka Chopra is likely to be busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Mary Kom biopic.”

Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif has a packed schedule. Presently, she is shooting for Dhoom 3, after which she will bigin shooting for the remake of English movie Knight And Day with Hrithik Roshan. After finishing these two films Katrina will work in Imtiaz’s film.
Looks like Ms Kaif is in great demand.

Salman Khan and Arbaaz had regular fights!

Arbaaz Khan is gearing up for the release of his Directorial debut flick, Dabangg 2 starring his older brother Salman Khan. Now, Arbaaz talks about how he always wanted to become a director and how he and Salman Khan fought regularly on the sets if they didn’t have the same views for a particular shot.

Arbaaz Khan said at an interview recently, “God forbid if something goes wrong, I don’t think it will be will be the end of Arbaaz Khan. Arbaaz Khan will bounce back.”

When asked about what people can expect from Dabanng 2, because Dabangg was already a huge hit, Arbaaz said: “As you know, Dabangg 2 is the sequel to the earlier film. We will be taking the story forward so that people can come and enjoy the journey further. We have tried to create things that can be more exciting for people. Dabangg symbolizes entertainment, drama, good music, actions and we have tried to give doses of all of that in the sequel too.”

Arbaaz was also asked about why he didn’t chose another accomplished director and opted for himself after Abhinav Kashyap decided to opt out of the film.

Arbaaz said: “Honestly, I always had the silent ambition of being a director.”

“I have not just been a mere producer; I have been involved with Abhinav on various aspects of the film, so when this opportunity arose, we had a void as to who will direct the film. I felt nobody, at that point in time and in the given circumstances, would be better suited to step in and take charge than myself, so I did it.”

Arbaaz chipped in saying he loved the tug of wars with Salman and how both of them argued a lot of times.

“Whatever the film could absorb or whatever was right for the film we have incorporated in the film. There were times when Salman Khan suggested things, we discussed and argued about it. At times I had to relent because I felt that I should trust his experience and his comfort level.”

“At other times, I managed to convince him. I enjoyed this tug of war where I give in sometimes and he gives in sometimes. Finally, we are both happy with the outcome.” added Arbaaz.

Aishwarya Rai confident of her comeback in Bollywood

Aishwarya Rai’s career had been on hold for quite sometime now, but the actor is ready to make a come back very soon and is pretty confident about it, too.

Aish was in Hyderabad on Wednesday, to open a new boutique in the city. She said, “I have been asked about my future projects since the start of this year. It feels great to be asked this because I feel missed.” She added, “I have been taking care of Aaradhya since she came into our lives and now that she’s one year old, I am finally starting to believe that I am ready to return. Right now I am hearing some scripts.

But everything is still in the discussion stage.”
she says.

So, are any projects coming up with Brand Bachchan?
Aish says, “A lot of ideas are flying out there. It’s really amazing to see a lot of offers coming in. It has been happening for six months, since I went to Cannes. But I take my time when it comes to agreeing to anything, be it movies or brand endorsements. When I do say `yes’, I am there for the long haul.”

How did Aishwarya Rai deal with her weighty issues, and the much hue and cry surrounding it??

“My response to critics is just to smile,” she says. “It is sad how India’s perception of weight-gain as against the West has changed.“ The irony is that Indian women are supposed to be full bodied. Some of us discover it during different phases of our lives. For me it was motherhood,“ she adds. “It is all about being comfortable in your own skin. I think my silence to all the criticism I faced in a way gave strength to a lot of women. I remember a woman in Bahrain coming up to me and saying this too,“ says Aishwarya.

In India, when media were busy criticizing her for her post pregnancy weight, an international publication named her as still the most beautiful woman on the planet.

The star was all praises for the city. She tagged Hyderabad as ‘Elaborate’.
